We welcome applicants to the 2015 Interprofessional Fellowship in Innovative Health Leadership. The program begins February 9, 2015 and ends November 19, 2015.

The Fellowship is a year-long, cohort-based experience in health innovation leadership offered by Arizona State University and the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) in partnership with Mayo Clinic’s Center for Innovation. This unique program helps health professionals with executive leadership responsibilities drive innovation in their organization. Graduates of the program improve outcomes by building innovation as a process and strengthen their organization’s capability to innovate. The program focuses on driving organizational return on investment as well as personal growth.
The Fellowship includes four immersions, monthly webinars and ongoing mentorship from leading experts including Dr. Tim Porter O’Grady, Dr. Kathy Malloch, Dr. Barbara Balik, Dr. Barry Silbaugh, Chris McCarthy, Dr. Marilyn Chow and Maureen Bisognano. We have an excellent line-up of webinar guest speakers including, but not limited to, Dr. Richard Carmona, 17th Surgeon General of the United States; Dr. Lee Hartwell, Nobel Laureate, Arizona State University; Dr. Michelle Janney, senior vice president and chief nurse executive at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and immediate past president, AONE; and Dr. Scott Parazynski, professor and former astronaut, University of Texas Medical Branch. Participants will apply learning to a project of their choosing aimed at adding value to their organization as well as take a pre- and post-leadership survey to assess their organization’s readiness for innovation. Personal leadership development will begin with the Corporate Athlete course offered by the Human Performance Institute, part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies.

"It was worth the investment. (Our Fellow’s) learning and application of these learnings on a practical level has helped shape them as a leader of innovation."

"The best part of the fellowship (beyond the great people) was the ability to have access to some of the most influential and brilliant leaders in healthcare today. Having one on one time and access to these leaders was a once in a lifetime experience for which I will always be grateful."
